About This Webinar:

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are in the news across the states, and they have become a growing topic of discussion amongst environmental practitioners, at all levels of regulatory agencies, and they are certainly a hot topic at conferences. If you have tuned in at all during 2020, you likely heard a lot of speculation as to where we are headed in 2021, especially with a new administration. There has been a lot of activity, shifting priorities, and responses to new information that makes some of these targets difficult to keep track of.

In the spirit of the season, we have cataloged what we know is in progress, and what the prospects for 2021 look like as we kick off the New Year.

This presentation will begin with a brief recap of the most notable updates from 2020, with a focus on the forecast for 2021. We will address the details specific to each of the items listed below, and what they might mean to you.

Topics the Presentation Will Cover:

  •  A brief review of 2020

  •  EPA Method Development Updates

  •  The 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)

  •  State highlights

  •  Congressional highlights

  •  Legal activity updates
